The highlight of my city break was undoubtedly the amazing food! As a vegetarian, it's hard to find good options in Japan, but this place had me awed. The meal was varied and tasty. The location was great, offering a village feeling, it was peaceful and quiet. , the staff went above and beyond to make us happy.
The pillows were uncomfortable and the Wi-Fi was sporadic, which was a bit disappointing.

We stayed at a traditional inn in a charming town, perfect for budget travelers. Strategically located in the city area, we found Sinonomesou's impeccable service delightful. the staff was helpful and went out of their way, even in the rain, to locate my left-behind item. the rooms were comfortable with individual toilets, yukata, and beds. Combined with the fantastic scenery around town and the YuMePa pass, it was a memorable experience.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a perfect location. It's tucked away in a quiet corner just behind the bustling main street, so you can enjoy both the tranquility and the convenience of being close to shops and attractions. The staff are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist us, even helping us park our car in a nearby lot due to the narrow roads in town. The rooms are traditional with low tables, adding to the authentic experience. Plus, they provide free tea, making it feel even more welcoming.
All was well, no improvements needed.

The traditional meal at this hotel was delicious and definitely worth trying. We truly enjoyed the taste and presentation of the meal. the hotel is conveniently located near several attractions in the area that we were able to explore. Another advantage is that the hotel provided comfortable yukatas for us to wear, which made us feel more immersed in the culture.
Communication with the staff was a major issue. They couldn't speak English well and it made it difficult to ask questions about the hotel amenities.
